📢 Join us Oct. 4, the feast day of Saint Francis of Assisi, for CRS’ Email Congress Day! Tell Congress you care about our global family members most impacted by climate change!
Across the globe, severe weather events—like droughts, storms or flooding—are disproportionately impacting communities experiencing poverty and vulnerability.
Farmers’ crops are damaged. Homes are destroyed. Livelihoods are ruined. Families who already lack the basic resources to recover from these setbacks find it difficult to earn an income or feed their children.
To enact real, transformational change on this issue, multilateral participation is necessary—meaning we need every person and every government to commit to building a better world.
The U.S. government must take bold action by advancing in global leadership on climate policies and commitments that will help communities around the world recover, adapt and build resilience for the future.
We need YOUR VOICE! Send an email today and urge your legislators to demonstrate continued U.S. leadership in addressing the impacts of climate change on people around the world.
All our leaders—regardless of party—must come together to honor commitments made to the Paris Climate Agreement and to support bold climate policy moving forward that represents both the ‘cry of the earth’ and the ‘cry of the poor,’ and includes the financial support by developed nations for adaptation, resilience, and recovery of the most vulnerable.
As a constituent, YOU are key to influencing Congress on climate policies that promote justice and support vulnerable communities most impacted by climate change. Thank you for supporting our global family!
